EACH Forum on Healthcare Communication
The EACH Forum on Healthcare Communication (formerly the EACH Summer Event) provides an excellent opportunity for the community of healthcare researchers, educators & practitioners to retreat for a period of intensive interactive learning with colleagues from around the world.
The event is structured as a series of high-quality, HALF-DAY WORKSHOPS which will not only share knowledge but, importantly, provide new & practical skills. Also on offer are 2 inspirational plenaries & great opportunities for collaboration & networking which include a welcome drinks reception, event dinner and POSTER EXHIBITION with ORAL PITCHES.
Amongst the 15 different workshops available to participants this year, we are delighted to offer a Research workshop by Dr Orit Karnieli-Miller (Tel Aviv University, Israel) on Breaking Bad News: Exploring the Benefit of Triangulating Between Different Tools and Methods; a Teaching workshop by Professor Edvin Schei (University of Bergen, Norway) on Close Encounters with the Sick: A Method for Facilitating Human Connection; and a Policy & Practice workshop by Professor Kathryn Pollak (Duke Cancer Institute, USA) on Coaching to Help Clinicians Improve Their Communication.
We look forward to seeing you there!
